Priority PTT uses multi-carrier SIM cards in every device. This means that your device will automatically switch carriers to find the best signal.

Monthly PTT Service

Every Priority PTT Subscription includes both cellular access and access to our Push-to-Talk platform.

​​​Broadcast Groups

Broadcast groups are hidden groups that select users may talk to. When they talk to this group all members will hear what is being said regardless of their current channel selection.

This is commonly used in place of overhead paging or for emergency instructions.

​​Groups / “Channels”

Groups or channels are the heart of the Mobile Tornado system. This is similar to a traditional walkie-talkie. You talk to the group, and everyone hears you, then anyone can respond.

Each subscriber may belong to up to 50 groups and each group may have up to 750 subscribers.

​1-to-1 Calls

Select an individual from your contact list and have a secure and private 1-to-1 call.

The contact list is programable, and you don’t need to be in a group with the other party. This is great for department heads to talk directly.

​Encryption

​​All communications from Mobile Tornado devices offer end-to-end encryption. We use AES256 with a rolling key that changes every time you press the PTT button.

​Push-to-alert

One long press of the orange emergency button notifies everyone in your group that you are in emergency status.

Users who have a device with a screen will see you exact GPS location on a map and can navigate directly to you.

Push-to-locate

Dispatchers and assigned users with a screen on their device will be able to pull up a map and see the real-time location of anyone in their assigned group. This feature can be disabled for users with privacy concerns.

Push-to-message

Send individual text messages directly from your PTT device. You can also send messages to your assigned groups or to the dispatcher. Rights to this feature are fully customizable.

Picture Messaging

With this additional permission you can include pictures within your instant messages.

Ad-Hoc Groups

Using your contact list, create a voice group on the fly. This is great for putting together a group of people you don’t normally communicate with. You can also use it to split of a small group for a one-time task.

Priority Talk

With this assigned permission individual users can be assigned a priority. Whenever that person talks, they will override or preempt anyone already speaking with a lower priority.

Affiliated Groups

With this feature we can affiliate your organization with another Mobile Tornado customer or even multiple customers. This means you can talk to them, and they can talk to you.

This is great when multiple companies work together.

Priority Support

Get our highest level of support when you need it most. We handle any issues that may come up and any additions or changes to your programming or account.

Workforce Management

Workforce Management allows you to track time and attendance, assign tasks and checklists, as well as accept digital reports. All of this can be done directly on the PTT radio.

Lone Worker

Monitor your workers for safety and compliance. Options include Fall Detection, No Movement Detection, High Speed, and Worker OK Check-ins.

Video Messaging

Allow video calls between enabled users. This feature requires Advanced Subscription, and a radio equipped with a camera.

Push-to-record

Enable recording throughout your organization or only for specific people or groups.

You can assign dispatchers or other users as recording reviewers as necessary.

Dispatch Software

Our Windows based dispatch software allows your dispatchers to monitor radio groups as well as manage emergency alerts, and text, picture, and video messages. The software allows dispatchers to monitor workers’ locations in real-time and manage the Lone Worker and Workforce Management functions with ease. This is essential for any Public Safety, Fleet, or Service Company with a dispatcher.
